Steve works with leaders and teams to help them become more effective.

He is fluent and flexible as a consultant, facilitator, designer or coach and is well-versed in hundreds of frameworks, tools and theories. He dynamically designs processes and activities in partnership with clients to ensure they are relevant and successful.

Steve led L&D teams at Google for 10 years (Global Learning Programs, L&D Business Partners teams, Custom OD Solutions) and served on the company’s People Development Leadership Team. He also worked as an internal consultant, where he was the primary author of Google’s company-wide org design methodology, which he applied in close partnership with senior leaders across functions and geographies to improve org effectiveness. Prior to Google he provided coaching to hundreds of college students and worked in the non-profit sector helping young people improve teamwork and leadership skills. 

He has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic and is a Certified Coach (CPCC) with the Coaches Training Institute. Originally from England, he lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children.  He enjoys writing and performing poetry.
